Edmonton police responded to a fight in a nearby parking lot in the area of 108A Avenue and 98 Street on May 9th at approximately 9:40 p.m.

On arrival police located 39-year-old Joshua Cardinal suffering from life-threatening injuries. Cardinal was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

An autopsy was performed and determined that Cardinal died as a result of multiple stab wounds, and the manner of death was homicide.

Police said Brad Alook, 34, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. Anyone with any information about this or any other crime is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
