Edmonton police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 117 Street and 107 Avenue on Christmas day at approximately 7:20 am.
Police and paramedics arrived to find a 28-year-old man suffering from serious injuries outside of an apartment building. Despite lifesaving efforts by Paramedics, the victim died of his injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time. Anyone with any information about the shooting or what led up to the incident is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
