Nova Scotia 2026 Homicide Victim List

Emergency crews, including RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, EHS, and fire services, responded to the area of 8000 block of Highway 224 in Nova Scotia around 1:20 p.m. on May 20 after receiving reports of a man in medical distress.

When first responders arrived, they found the victim in cardiac arrest and suffering from physical injuries. He was taken to hospital, where he later died.

Investigators later determined the man had been involved in a physical altercation earlier that day.

On May 23, officers with the RCMP/HRP Integrated Special Investigation Section arrested 30-year-old Easton Marshall Paul in connection with the death. He has been charged with manslaughter and remains in custody. He was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on May 25.

The investigation continues with assistance from RCMP Forensic Identification Services and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
