Melfort RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance at a local business on March 10th.

Police said an altercation occurred between an adult male and an adult female. 30-year-old Danielle Dobersheck from Prince Albert, Sask was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Cody Chubey was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder. Police said the victim and accused were known to each other.
