Anishnaabe Police Service said four men attended were at a home on Pine street in the downtown area of M’Chigeeng when one of the four men was shot on April 5th. Police said all individuals, including the deceased, are all non-band members.

The victim was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have not released the identity of the victim at this time.

Chief Linda Debassige said “We are again urging members of our community to come forward and immediately report to the police any information that relates to any suspicious activity, drug activity and any suspicious persons that you see in our community.”
