Surrey police said the body of Amin Vinepal, 24,  was found at approximately 3:30 p.m, April 26th at 12th Avenue near 176th in an area that is mainly surrounded by farmland.

Cpl. Frank Jang said “I can tell you that Mr. Vinepal was known to police and associated to gang activity,”

A burnt out vehicle was found a few kilometers away. Police have not determined if the vehicle is linked to the death of Vinepal.
