Prince Albert police responded to a call for assistance in the 300 block of River Street West on March 24, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found 35-year-old Brett Charles dead inside the residence. Three individuals were arrested at the scene.

As a result of the investigation, 33-year-old Alisha Ross has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, and breaching court-ordered conditions. She appeared in court for the first time at Prince Albert Provincial Court on Tuesday March 25th.

Police confirmed that the victim and the accused were known to each other.
