Cumberland House police and emergency crews responded to a report of an unresponsive female on Deschambeault Avenue, August 10th at approximately 6:00am.

Paramedics were attending to the victim who has been identified as Carissa Ballantyne 21, however she was declared deceased shortly after the arrival of police.

The cause of death has not been released at this time.

Acea Dorian, 21, has been charged with second degree murder, and is scheduled for court on August 14th.
