Police said the shooting occurred on January 5th at approximately 8:30am, in the 500-block of Ottawa Street in the encampment known as Moccasin Flats.

A male victim was located at the scene suffering serious injuries. He was transported to hospital.

Prince George RCMP announced on February 8th that the man recently died as a result of his injuries.

Fabian James Charlie, 39, was initially charged with one count of attempted murder and has now been charged with second-degree homicide.
