Oromocto RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion at a residence on Route 655 in Waasis on July 22nd at approximately 2:15am.

Police arrived to find a 29-year-old Nicholas Charles Astorino deceased. RCMP said they believe that more than one armed individuals entered the residence, and fled prior or police arriving.

Police believe the home invasion and the suspicious death are linked. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Major Crime Unit at 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).
