28-year-old woman charged with the murder of a man in St. John’s

The RNC Operational Patrol Services responded to a report of an assault in progress in the street near Carter’s Hill in St. John’s on August 26th at approximately 6:35pm.

Police arrived to find located a 49-year-old male with serious injuries lying on the ground. He was pronounced at the scene by paramedics. The cause of death has not been released.

Police arrested a 28-year-old woman near the scene, and she has been charged with second-degree murder.
