Upper Fraser Valley RCMP responded to the report of a man in a field on Chowat Road, on August 26th at approximately 7:30am.

The death of the 25-year-old man has been deemed suspicious and the IHIT has taken over the case.

Sgt. David Lee of IHIT says the death was an isolated incident and the general public is not at risk. HE also noted that they do not believe the death is related to the Lower Mainland gang conflict
