22-Year-Old Woman Found Dead in Niagara Falls; Two Men Charged with Indignity to a Body

On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) responded to a report of a sudden death in a parking lot near Main Street and Ferry Street in Niagara Falls.

Officers located the body of a 22‑year‑old woman behind a building. The case was assigned to NRPS’s Homicide Unit.

Christopher St. Louis, 43, of Niagara Falls, has been arrested and charged with Indignity to a Body. He is being held in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Robert S.K. Welch Courthouse in St. Catharines.

Police are seeking a second suspect, Ryan Maeder, 38, also of Niagara Falls, wanted on the same charge.

Authorities state that the cause of death is still under investigation.
