Update: Victim Identified – 18-year-old Trey Gagnon arrested in relation to the murder of his mother

Ontario Provincial Police responded to a 911 call for assistance at a home in Bonnechere, Ontario on January 25th at approximately 9:00pm.

Police arrived to find a person deceased at the scene. Police have not released the identity of the deceased or the cause of death.

At approximately 9:50am police announced that they were searching for 18-year-old Trey Gagnon of Laurentian Valley Township, for Second-Degree-murder, however, at approximately 1:30pm, police announced that he had been arrested.

Update January 30th
The victim has been identified as Lisa Sharpe, 48, of Eganville. Police say she was the mother of Trey Gagnon.
