Montreal police responded to a wellness check on January 25th at approximately 7:20am at a home near Fullum and De Rouen streets.

On arrival police located Lysane Gendron, 61, with marks of violence on her body. His death is being investigated as a homicide.

Media relations officer Const. Caroline Chèvrefils said they are questioning a man who is considered an important witness.
