Patricia Roach 54, was found dead in her north-west Edmonton home on October 24th. Police responded after Emergency Medical Services workers reported Roach’s death.

Police have declared that the manner of death is a homicide, the cause of death will not be released at this time for investigative purposes.

**UPDATE**

Police revealed January 20th that forensic evidence shows John Gearhart 37,  responsible for killing Patricia Roach.

Two days before police had the forensic evidence to make the arrest, Gearhart was found dead in Spruce Grove. Police say his death was not suspicious.
