Two Suspects Charged with Manslaughter in the Death of Christine Beck in Winnipeg

Winnipeg Police were called to the 300 block of Alfred Avenue following reports of an unresponsive woman on the night of August 6, 2025, shortly after 10:00 p.m.

When police arrived, they found emergency responders already attending to 45-year-old Christine Beck, who had been discovered outside. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died from her injuries.

The Homicide Unit took over the investigation and, after consulting with Manitoba Prosecution Services, secured authorization to lay a charge of manslaughter.

On August 7th, Investigators arrested two suspects, a 36-year-old Cailie Lauren Chartrand and 36-year-old Bradley Kenneth Jones. Both were charged woith charged with manslaughter.
