The Toronto 2024 Homicide Victim List is available here

 Toronto Police Neighbourhood Officers from 31 Division heard sounds of gunshots in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at approximately 2:17 p.m.

Arriving officers located two victims with injuries and performed life-saving measures. One victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, and the second victim was transported to hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

The victims have been identified as Ibrahim Handule, 26, of Toronto, and Deshawn Walters, 27, of Toronto.
