Toronto police responded to a radio call for the sound of gunfire at 1853 Lawrence Avenue East at approximately 7:08pm.

Police located Cam-Thanh Tat, 62, of Toronto, suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Update February 20th
Toronto police arrested a 16-year-old boy on Friday February 19th and charged him with First Degree Murder in relation to the murder of Cam-Thanh Tat.
