Kativik Regional Police Force officers responded to a domestic dispute at a home in Kuujjuaq on February 7th at approximately 3:00am.

Police arrived to find Elisapee Angma suffering from serious injuries. She was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries later that day.

The victim’s ex partner Thomassie Cain, was found deceased in his home at approximately 10:00am the same day. According to reports Cain had a recent history of alleged assaults and harassment of Angma.
