Toronto Homicide 6 – Two men have been arrested and police continue to search for Liban Mohamud in connection to the homicide of Edwin John Redmond

Toronto police responded to a call for an assault in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at approximately 5:48 a.m.

Officers arrived to find Edwin John Redmond, 27, of Toronto, deceased at the scene.

On Saturday, February 10, 2024, Zakkaria Wardere, 27, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

On Tuesday, February 13, 2024, Ninos Khoshaba, 49, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

  1. Second Degree Murder

The outstanding suspect has been identified as Liban Mohamud, 42, of Toronto, who is wanted on a Canada-Wide Warrant in the First for:

  1. Second Degree Murder
