Toronto police responded to a call for a “Check Address” in the Pharmacy Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area on July 5th at 9:40am.
Police arrived at the scene to find Carolyn Campbell, 52, without vitals. Campbell was rushed to hospital where she was died of her injuries.
An autopsy revealed that Carolyn Campbell had been murdered. According to court documents police alleged Josiph Cardle killed Campbell by turning off Campbell’s oxygen supply.
Josiph Cardle, 44, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with second degree murder.
