Toronto police announced on September 2nd that they have been investigating an aggravated assault turned homicide that occurred on August 6th.
Toronto police responded to a call for an assault in the Woodbine Avenue and Danforth Avenue area on Friday, August 6, 2021, at approximately 4:10 p.m.
The elderly victim who has been identified as 77-year-old John Manion was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries on August 29th.
Police are looking for Arja Duffy, 41, of Toronto, who is wanted on a charge of manslaughter. She is considered violent and dangerous. If located, do not approach. Call 9-1-1 immediately. Tyler George, 28, is also wanted by police, his photo can be seen here.

Update: On Saturday, September 4, 2021, Tyler George, 28, turned himself into police. He has been charged with ManslaughterÂ

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Toronto police arrested Arja Duffy, who is now 42. She is charged with:
