Toronto police responded to calls for the sound of gunshots near 18 John Garland Boulevard, on February 24th at approximately 1:55pm.
Police arrived to find a 19-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound, and an 18-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victims were rushed to hospital where Nicklus McKain, 18, of Toronto, died of his injuries.
Police are searching for a suspect who fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen driving southbound on Kipling Ave. at John Garland Blvd. It is described as a newer model white Nissan Rogue.
