St. Catharines police are investigating the suspicious sudden death of an adult female found in an apartment in the Church and Court Streets area on January 9, 2025.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. uniform officers responded to a call at an apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered the 67-year-old woman deceased inside the residence. The circumstances surrounding her death have led investigators to treat it as suspicious.

At present, there have been no arrests made in connection with the death. A police presence remains in the area as Homicide detectives work alongside the Forensic Services Unit (FSU) to gather evidence and piece together the details of this incident.
