Stephen Dunk charged in connection with the homicide of Courtney Thomas in St. Catharines

Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Niagara Street and Church Street in the City of St. Catharines for a stabbing on October 10, 2024, at approximately 9:55pm.

On arrival police located a male with life threatening injuries. The victim, 57-year-old Courtney Thomas, was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

52-year-old Stephen Dunk of St. Catharines was arrested and is facing a charge of Second-Degree Murder.
