The 2023 Manitoba Homicide Victim List is available here

Morris RCMP, and officers from Emerson and St-Pierre-Jolys, responded to a residence in Morris on the report of a shooting on August 12, 2023, at approximately 12:35 am.

Police arrived to find a 32-year-old male and a 65-year-old female deceased in the residence. A 59-year-old male was treated on scene for non-life-threatening injuries. Police learned the 32-year-old male had shot the 65-year-old female and wounded the 59-year-old male before turning the gun on himself.

Police said there is a familial connection between all three individuals involved. RCMP are not searching for any other suspects.
