Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to the report of gunfire in the area of 102 Avenue and 248 Street at approximately 6:40pm on November 1st.

Police located Daniel William Delmark, 57, in a white GMC pickup truck, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life saving efforts, Delmaek was pronounced at the scene. IHIT said Delmark lived in Maple Ridge, he was not known to police and didn’t have any connections to the Lower Mainland gang conflict.

Anyone who may have surveillance camera footage or dashcam video from anybody who was in the Lougheed Highway area or near 100 and 102 Avenue around 264 Street between 6 and 7 p.m. on Monday, is asked to contact the IHIT Information Line at 1-877-551-4448.
