Ottawa police responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Russell Road on Friday June 28th at approximately 10:00pm.
Investigators said the victim is 19-year-old Yousef Salaman of Ottawa.
Currently, no suspects are in custody and the investigation is continuing.
Investigators are seeking surveillance video from residents and persons who may have been in the area at the time of the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 5493.
