Update: Three charged – John Wayne DAVIS is deceased and two others injured in a Calgary home invasion

Calgary police were called to a residence located in the 0 to 100 block of Braden Crescent N.W., for reports of a home invasion on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 at 9:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, police located a man deceased and two others injured inside the residence. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, confirmed the identity of the victim as John Wayne DAVIS, 53.

The two other people who were injured remain in the hospital in stable and serious condition.

Update: The Calgary Police Service Homicide Unit announced on February 7th, 2025 that Jarvais L. EISNOR, 44, of Calgary, was arrested and charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful confinement, robbery, break and enter and two counts of aggravated assault in relation to the death of DAVIS and the two others who were injured.

EISNOR will next appear in court on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025.  

On Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, Ryo Allan NELSON, 42, of Calgary, was arrested and charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful confinement, robbery, break and enter and two counts of aggravated assault concerning the death of DAVIS and the two other victims who were injured.

Additionally, on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, Alexandra Faith DOMAN, 31, of Calgary, was also arrested and charged with one count each of manslaughter, unlawful confinement, robbery, break and enter and two counts of aggravated assault in connection to the fatal home invasion.

NELSON and DOMAN will next appear in court on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
