Jeffrey Allen Lazore-Arquette found dead in St. Regis Quebec, arrest made

Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service are investigating the homicide of Jeffrey Allen Lazore-Arquette, 58, who was found with undisclosed injuries in the Kana:takon region on August 11th. 

Jeffrey Allen Lazore-Arquette, 58 was rushed to the Cornwall Community Hospital, and was then airlifted to an Ottawa Hospital where he died of his injuries.

Police said the death is being investigated as a homicide, and no arrests have been made at this time.

The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service (AMPS) has issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of homicide suspect Victor J. Lazore, 33, Akwesasne, in connection with the death of 58-year-old Jeffery Allen Lazore-Arquette. The warrant is a required step by the AMPS in order to be able to get an extradition order for Lazore to face charges in a Canadian court.

According to The Akwesasne Mohawk Police, they with assistance from U.S. authorities, have taken a suspect into custody in connection with the recent homicide in Kana:takon (St. Regis). An extradition order is being sought.
