Surrey RCMP located a man with apparent stab wounds in the 1700-block of 152nd Street on August 16th at approximately 3:00am.
The victim, Delphin Paul Prestbakmo, 45, died at the scene. Police believe the attack was targeted and said the investigation is still in the early stages. Two teens have been arrested.

Two teenagers convicted of killing a Surrey mechanic in 2019 have had their adult life sentences overturned on appeal. The victim, Delphin Paul Prestbakmo, was allegedly stabbed 42 times in 26 seconds, while walking to get a drink.
Although the teens were originally sentenced as adults with life terms, the appeal court reduced their punishment to the maximum allowed for youth offenders, seven years, including time in custody. The decision follows a recent Supreme Court ruling that says prosecutors must prove a young offender has adult-level maturity before giving an adult sentence.
