Sudbury police were called to a home on Spruce Street on August 11th at 6:43am.

On arrival police located a deceased 27-year-old woman. The victim’s identity will not be released at the request of the family. The cause of death has not been released at this time. Sudbury Police said a publication ban has been issued in relation to this matter, which prohibits the police service from providing the preliminary cause of death.

34-year-old Hatinder Sharma was arrested and charged with first degree murder. Police have not released the relationship between the victim and the accused, but said she killed in a “domestic homicide.”
