Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing in the downtown area of Fort McMurray on January 6th at approximately 3pm.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Christopher Michael McQuilkin suffering from serious injuries. he was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

On January 9th, police arrested Hue Cong Nguyen, aka Josh Nguyen, 50, and charged him with second degree murder.
