Update: OPP declares the deaths a triple murder-suicide – Family found deceased in Harrow Ontario

Ontario provincial police conducted a wellness check at a home in Harrow on June 20th where they located  41-year-old Carly Walsh, 42-year-old Steven Walsh, 13-year-old Madison Walsh and eight-year-old Hunter Walsh deceased.

Police said the cause of death “cannot yet be confirmed” but repeated that there is “no imminent threat to public safety.”

Carly, Madison and Hunter’s funeral arrangements have been put in place without mention of Steven.

Update: While the investigation remains ongoing, the OPP say the “initial investigation” found the death of the family to be a case of intimate partner violence (IPV).

Sgt. Ed Sanchuk said in a video posted to OPP West Region’s X account, that Carly Walsh, Madison Walsh and, Hunter Walsh were shot. Steven Walsh’s cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
