Edmonton police responded to a weapons complaint in the area of 127 Avenue and 118 Street on May 27, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m.

On arrival, they located an adult male suffering from a serious injury. EMS treated and transported Jordan Belhumeur, 37, to hospital, where he later died of his injuries. An autopsy was performed and determined that Belhumeur, died of a gunshot wound. The manner of death is homicide.

Homicide Section investigators are still hoping there may be witnesses or evidence captured on security cameras. Area residents are encouraged to check their home surveillance video and contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.

Update: On March 9th 2026, the Edmonton Police Service Homicide Section has arrested two males in connection with the homicide of Jordan Belhumeur. Tristan Dylan Green, 29, and Dorian Gladue Thomas, 25, have been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the death of Jordan Belhumeur. Green was arrested on Feb. 4, 2026, while Thomas was taken into custody on March 8, 2026.
