Vancouver police officers responded to the report of a stabbing at a residential building near Kingsway and Melbourne Street on October 3rd .

On arrival police located 34-year-old Brian Mathew Clayton suffering from injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The B.C. Prosecution Service has charged Dolly Patricia Capoose, 27, with second degree murder. She remains in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
