Niagara Regional Police Service responded to a call in the area of Division Street and Riordon Street in the City of St. Catharines, following reports of gunshots on November 22nd at approximately 1:40pm.

on arrival police located two adult males with gunshot wounds.  One was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  The other man was taken to an out-of-region hospital where they are currently being treated with life-threatening injuries.

On Saturday November 23, 2024, at approximately 4 pm, detectives arrested a male after several hours of negotiations at a home on Churchill Street.

47-year-old Daniel Dale Rosebush of St. Catharines is facing the following charges:

–       Second degree murder

–       Attempted murder
