Quebec City, 2026 Homicide Victim List

Quebec City police (SPVQ) have confirmed that the body found last week in the Saint Lawrence River near the Port of Quebec is that of 44-year-old Susana Rocha Cruz.

Rocha Cruz, who had been reported missing on January 7, is now believed to have been the victim of a homicide. Her body was recovered on January 13 near a dock in the Port of Quebec in the early afternoon.

Abraham Gonzalez Leon, 43, has been charged with Second-Degree Murder.

According to CBC, originally from Mexico, Rocha Cruz worked as a housekeeper in the hotel industry. Police continue to investigate, urging anyone with information to come forward.
