Stony Plain RCMP responded to a report of a deceased couple at a home on July 23. Police arrived to find a 56-year-old man and 44-year-old woman, who were in a relationship, dead in a residence in Stony Plain.

RCMP Spokeswoman Cpl. Laurel Scott said, “We are treating (her death) as a homicide,”. Police have not released how the man died but said they not seeking any suspects in connection with the homicide.

The victim’s identities will not be released.
