London, Ontario 2026 Homicide Victim List is available here

Officers from the London Police Service Major Crime Section were called to the area of Central Avenue and Richmond Street at about 5:45 p.m. on September 29, 2026, following reports of a possible shooting.

Police located an adult man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital by paramedics but later died from his injuries.

A male suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police say the investigation remains ongoing, and officers will continue to have a visible presence in the area while evidence is gathered.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who was near Central Avenue and Richmond Street between approximately 5:30 and 6 p.m. and may have witnessed something suspicious. Police are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who has dashcam recordings or video footage from nearby homes or businesses.
