The Regina Police Service, in partnership with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, has launched a death investigation following the discovery of a deceased woman in the 1500 block of Cameron Street.
Police were called to a home in that area on July 25, 2025, at around 3:57 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an adult female who was pronounced dead at the scene. The area was secured, and additional police units and the Coroner were brought in to assist.
Update: The victim is identified as 42-year-old Stephanie Coady.
Following the investigation, 39-year-old Lyle Turcotte has been charged with second-degree murder under section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
In addition, 39-year-old Brandi Schile has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder, under section 240 of the Criminal Code.
