Saint-Hyacinthe police received several calls on Tuesday July 3rd at around noon reporting a man suffering from serious injuries at a pedestrian crossing.

Police and paramedics arrived to find Denis Chassé, 60, suffering in life threatening condition. Chassé was rushed to hospital where he died of his injuries.

Steve Gaudette was charged with second degree murder of Denis Chassé onJuly 4th at the Saint-Hyacinthe courthouse.
