Nanaimo RCMP responded to a home to conduct a welfare check after receiving information from the Kelowna RCMP on August 12th at approximately 3:00pm.

On arrival police located 30-year-old Ryan Mosher deceased. RCMP said his death is considered suspicious and the Nanaimo RCMP Serious Crime Unit has been called to take conduct of the homicide investigation with assistance from Kelowna RCMP.

 Cst. Derek Balderston of the Nanaimo RCMP said “We strongly believe Mr. Mosher’s death is an isolated incident and the general public is not considered to be at risk.”
