Charges laid in connection with the death of Mohamed-Yanis Seghouani, a 14-year-old boy from St-Léonard in 2024. According to the Montreal Gazette, his body was discovered in Frampton, southeast of Quebec City, on land associated with the Red Devils, a support group linked to the Hells Angels.

It was later revealed that Seghouani and another teenager had allegedly been recruited by a gang and sent to the Beauce region to intimidate individuals connected to the Hells Angels.

In March 2024, police arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the events in Frampton. He was charged with obstruction, as well as arson involving both a building and a vehicle.

As the investigation progressed, authorities continued to identify additional suspects. A 30-year-old man, already detained at the Quebec City Detention Centre, was also arrested. Prosecutors are now reviewing the case to determine whether charges will be filed against him.

More recently, Dawson Cyr-Léveillé, 24, was arrested in Valleyfield. He is expected to face charges including discharging a firearm and arson.

On May 19th an 18-year-old man was arrested in Riviere-des-Prairies Tuesday morning in connection with the homicide.

The investigation remains ongoing and is being led by the Sûreté du Québec, working in collaboration with the RCMP and police forces from Montreal, Laval, and Longueuil. The specialized squad focuses on cases involving organized crime, particularly murders and disappearances tied to gang activity.
