Winnipeg, Manitoba 2026 Homicide Victim List

Winnipeg police were called to the 200 block of Stella Walk just before 3:20 a.m. following reports that several people had been attacked. When they arrived, they found two injured men outside and a third inside a nearby residence, all suffering from severe injuries. Police provided immediate first aid until paramedics took over.

The two men found outside, ages 23 and 27, were taken to hospital in unstable condition but have since been upgraded to stable. The third victim was transported in critical condition and later died in hospital.

Investigators have identified the deceased as 49-year-old Robson Isaac Sinclair, a member of Fisher River Cree Nation who had been living in Winnipeg.

A 23-year-old suspect, Elroy Ross, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault. He remains in custody.
