The 2024 Vaughan Ontario Homicide Victim List is available here

York Regional Police responded to a residence located on Casa Nova Drive. When officers arrived, four victims were located inside the residence with gunshot injuries on June 21st at 8:52 am.

40-year-old Thi Trang DO and her 2-year-old son Marcus VU, both of Vaughan have been pronounced deceased. The other two victims are in stable condition.

Van Viet DUONG, 41, of the City of Toronto has been charged with First Degree Murder x2 and Attempted Murder x2.

The accused is believed to be known to the victims and the incident is believed to be targeted.
