Toronto police responded to report of an assault in the Finch Avenue East and Bridletowne Circle area on April 5th at approximately 3:04pm.
Police said emergency services attended and located Kamalakannan Arasaratnam, 58, of Toronto injured. Despite life-saving efforts Arasaratnam died at the scene.
It has been reported that two men got into a verbal argument at a restaurant, one man assaulted the other man causing serious injuries.
Police said the suspect was last seen walking northbound Bridletowne Circle from this location. He has been described as brown in complexion, 40 to 50 years of age, medium build, wearing a blue winter style jacket, grey pants, black shoes.
