Halifax District RCMP were called to a suspicious death at a home on Glen Arbour Way. A woman was found deceased in the home on April 2nd at approximately 2:40pm.

Police arrived to find Tracy MacKenzie, 35, deceased. The cause of death has not been released. Stephen Beckett, 45, of Hammonds Plains was arrested without incident and has been charged with Second Degree Murder in relation to the death of a woman.

Police have not disclosed the relationship between the victim and the accused.
