Toronto police responded to report of a shooting at 5 Leaside Park Drive on April 5th at approximately 10:42pm.
Police and paramedics arrived to find 16-year-old Nazirullah Abdul-Rashid with apparent gunshot wounds inside a motor vehicle. Despite lifesaving efforts, the teen died at the scene.
Anyone who was in the area of 5 Leaside Park Drive between 10 – 11 p.m., on Sunday, April 5, 2020, and heard or saw anything out of the ordinary, to contact police at 416-808-7400.
Update: On Thursday, December 9, 2021, Toronto police arrested Salman Jogiyat, 20, of Toronto and charged him with:
